Project Sleepipe
Sleepipe is an upcycling project for 6 concrete pipes that remained unused during the drainage project Seapipe 2.0 in Zug. Equipped with a table, bed couch, generous wardrobe space, a refrigerator, a shower and toilet and even underfloor heating, the tube elements can be stacked on top of each other in the shape of a pyramid, assembling them to a creative hotel with 6 one-bedrooms.
MEBAG’s Pioneering Expansion into the Emerging Market of Digitally Enabled Facility Management
Over the past year and a half, MEBAG have been developing their own building monitoring platform to digitalize and enhance all aspects of facility management services and practices. Using our team’s vast industry experience, MEBAG can confidently offer a new service in which we tailor fit sensors across any type of critical building machine / system that grants access to an easily navigational monitoring and alerting system.
Office Building for a Zug-based Company
Probably one of MEBAG’s largest projects to date was the planning, furnishing and operational management of an office building in the Steinhausen area for an internationally active company with its headquarters in Zug. According to the needs and wishes of our client, MEBAG planned and constructed the company’s new office building. It was equipped with the most modern building automation, intelligent building control systems and state-of-the-art technologies, so that it supported our client to carry out their daily business to the best of their abilities.
Development of Office Spaces, Zug
From a partially complete building to a highly furnished office space: in 2015, MEBAG developed office spaces according to the needs and wishes of our customer, starting from the unfinished structure of the building and developed this to modern-day office standards in the heart of Zug (ZG). Particularly challenging: the building had been designed to match the standards of a residential property instead of an office.
Tenant Fitout Office Spaces Gotthardstrasse, Zug
In 2015, MEBAG took care of the planning, coordinating and execution of a tenant fitout in the city centre of Zug. Existing office space were further developed to meet the exact, individual wishes and needs of the client. Since their completion, MEBAG has been in charge of managing the operation and administration of the office spaces.
Refurbishments Gasthaus zur Post
One of our most recent projects is located directly on the road where stagecoaches used to travel towards the Gotthard regularly until 1881. The refurbishments carried out on the Gasthaus zur Post in Sattel (SZ) were managed by MEBAG: while some of the arising tasks were completed by our employees directly, others were passed on to external parties and monitored by MEBAG. After a refurbishment period of roughly 3 months, the inn reopened its doors on July 1st 2020.
Refurbishments Skihaus Hochstuckli
The renovation work, which MEBAG carried out from March to August 2016 at the Skihaus Hochstuckli (SZ), included the total renovation of all interior rooms. The walls and ceilings were all touched up, and the floors renewed. Furthermore, the lighting system was replaced and completely modernised, literally putting the restaurant in a new light. In addition, all sanitary facilities have also been completely redone. The completion of the renovation work at Skihaus Hochstuckli during the summer of 2016 also meant the completion of MEBAG's first major renovation project.
Terrace Renovation, Private Residence, Oberägeri
MEBAG also carries out projects on behalf of private individuals: with great expertise, our experts developed and implemented a solution for the terrace of a residential building in Oberägeri (ZG), which had fallen victim to slope pressure.
General Apartment Renovation, Private Residence, Zug
A wide range of renovation work on a private flat in Zug (ZG) was planned, coordinated and - whenever possible - carried out by MEBAG. The work ranged from minor touch-up repairs to the glazing of the balcony.
