Terrace Renovation, Private Residence, Oberägeri

Although MEBAG's main business is the completion of orders for businesses, the company also carries out projects on behalf of private individuals. A good example of this is the rebuild of a terrace of a private residence in Oberägeri (ZG).

Due to its location on a steep hillside, the terrace of the house fell victim to slope pressure in 2018 and started to slowly slide away from the house. MEBAG provided consulting for a solution to remedy this problem and ended up implementing this. The existing terrace was excavated and newly redeveloped, so it was anchored to the foundations of the house using reinforced irons and concrete. Since the house was already well anchored for its position on the hillside and therefore sufficiently stabilised – in contrast to the terrace – it offered sufficient support to prevent future slipping of the terrace by fixing it to these foundations.
