From Seapipe to Sleepipe
Sleepipe is an upcycling project for 6 concrete pipes that remained unused during the drainage project Seapipe 2.0 in Zug. Equipped with a table, bed couch, generous wardrobe space, a refrigerator, a shower and toilet and even underfloor heating, the tube elements can be stacked on top of each other in the shape of a pyramid, assembling them to a creative hotel with 6 one-bedrooms.

Unique
The pipes are mobile and can be disassembled in one place and reassembled at a new location with relatively little effort. All it takes is a water supply pipe, electricity and a water removal conduit. Stacked up on top of each other in the shape of a pyramid, the tube elements can be assembled to a creative hotel.
Sustainable
As an upcycling project, the Sleepipe has its roots in the principle of sustainability. The six concrete pipes that remained unused from the drainage project Seapipe 2.0 would have been destroyed, if it weren’t for the new purpose that the Sleepipe project has given them.
Comfort
The Sleepipes are equipped with a table, a bed couch, generous wardrobe and shelf space, a refrigerator, a shower and toilet and even underfloor heating. Despite the Sleepipes having a diameter of roughly 2.7 metres and a surface of approximately 8 square metres, their furnishing guarantees a high level of comfort.
«The challenge lies in offering full comfort on a small surface while generating a sense of spaciousness.»
