Refurbishments Skihaus Hochstuckli

The renovation work, which MEBAG carried out from March to August 2016 at the Skihaus Hochstuckli (SZ), included the total renovation of all interior rooms. The walls and ceilings were all touched up, and the floors renewed. Furthermore, the lighting system was replaced and completely modernised, literally putting the restaurant in a new light. In addition, all sanitary facilities have also been completely redone.

However, the renovation work carried out at Skihaus Hochstuckli was not only limited to the interior, but also comprised the renovation of the exterior. The terrace which already existed at the beginning of the renovation, was renewed, and completed with the installation of an awning. What’s more, a second terrace was added to the lower level of the building. For this to be done, it was necessary to additionally strengthen the slope on which Skihaus Hochstuckli is built. The highlight of this newly added second terrace is the ski house's own whirlpool, which was also installed as part of the renovation work. Simultaneous to this, a synthetic ice field was added to the outside area of the ski house.

The completion of the renovation work at Skihaus Hochstuckli during the summer of 2016 also meant the completion of MEBAG's first major renovation project.
